History
Forward Madison FC was announced as the fourth founding member of USL League One in 2018 and began play in the league’s first season in 2019. In both 2019 and 2022, the team led the league in overall and average attendance (2020 and 2021 were pandemic restricted years). However, they have yet to make the playoffs again since their semifinal run in 2019.
Forward Madison plays at city owned Breese Stevens Field with a capacity of 5,000. Big Top Events owns Forward Madison and is the promoter and maintainer of the venue.
