History

Greenville Triumph SC was founded as an inaugural member of USL League One. The club was managed by former US Men’s National Team player John Harkes from its founding through 2023 and has been one of the more successful teams since. Greenville won the league championship in 2020 based on points per game average in the pandemic season, made the final in 2019 and 2021, and has made the playoffs in every season since joining the league.

The club plays at the 16,000-capacity Paladin Stadium (reduced by half for soccer matches) and has been exploring multiple options to move forward on the development of an 8,000-capacity long-term home in Mauldin. The project had been slated for 2023 but is currently stuck after Greenville County rejected the plan.

Best Finish: 1st (2020)
