Expansion club Santa Barbara Sky FC will join the league in 2024 and is set to play at the oceanside La Playa Stadium on the campus of Santa Barbara City College. The pending agreement would have the club financing upgrades and improvements to the 10,000 capacity stadium, currently used for SBCC athletics such as football, soccer and track and field. Long term, the club plans to build its own soccer specific stadium in the area.
